How We Write Reviews

How product reviews are written and what we disclose

This policy applies to product reviews that show how they were written below the title.

We state the type of article first

Right below the title we say whether the author bought the product, received it for free, was sponsored, or worked only from documents.

Analyses and buying guides cover products the author did not use, based on official and public sources. These articles are written without claiming hands-on use.

Experience comes only from what the author entered

AI cannot use a product. The time used, the setting, and what worked or did not are values the author entered, and any experience in the article stays within them.

The measurements table shows the values and methods the author entered.

Ratings come from the author

AI does not create ratings. If the author did not enter a rating, none is shown.

Photos

Photos and thumbnails in product reviews are not generated by AI. Thumbnails are the main photo with text on top.

Photos the author took are labeled as such in the caption. Other photos are reference images from free photo sources and may differ from the actual product.

Where AI is used

Articles are drafted with AI tools and go through quality checks. The end of each article states that AI was used.

For sensitive fields such as health supplements, medical devices, and cosmetics, we instruct the tools not to state effects as fact. We also instruct them to avoid unsupported superlatives.

Revenue and provided products

Articles with Coupang Partners ads or product cards say below the title that we may earn a commission.

Articles about products received for free or sponsored name the provider and the compensation below the title.

Prices and check dates

Prices are values the author checked, shown with the date. Prices can change, so please confirm with the seller before buying.

The end of each article shows the last check date.
